With over 12 years of immersion in the field of education, Bronwyn has become a seasoned expert within the Singapore International Schools database. Possessing a wealth of knowledge, she adeptly guides individuals in their quest for the perfect educational institution, simplifying the often intricate process through her expert consultation services.

Bronwyn’s proficiency extends beyond mere advice; she actively engages in planning the academic trajectory of each child under her guidance. This involves meticulous planning, facilitating school visits, proposing tailored strategies for additional language support, and analyzing the extracurricular landscape necessary for a child’s holistic development.

As a mother of three, Bronwyn personally understands the challenges of relocating to Singapore and navigating the associated immigration process and school search. Leveraging her personal experiences and strategic skills acquired during her Bachelor of Commerce studies, she adopts a holistic approach. This approach involves comprehensively understanding each student’s profile, considering family requirements, and evaluating the school environment in her role as a consultant at ED-SG.

Bronwyn’s entrepreneurial spirit led her to found Nurture and Nature Preschool in 2010, a venture that flourished under her leadership, expanding to three branches by 2017. With an educational background including a teaching diploma and extensive volunteer teaching experience, she brings a unique perspective to assessing schools based on their educational standards.

In a landscape boasting over 50 different academic curricula, Bronwyn actively participates in schools’ open days and training events, ensuring she remains well-versed in the latest developments. Drawing on her experience as an admissions manager for two established schools in Singapore, she provides invaluable insights into the admissions process.

Driven by her knowledge and determination, Bronwyn’s overarching goal is clear: to empower families relocating to Singapore with comprehensive information about their educational options. Her commitment extends to ensuring that every student finds their ideal school placement, making her an indispensable resource for those navigating the educational landscape in Singapore.

Irene Wong

Irene, a dynamic and passionate educator, boasts an extensive background spanning over a decade in both Singapore’s local education system and the aviation service industry. This unique combination of experiences has molded her into a versatile professional with a keen understanding of diverse environments.

Driven by a profound belief in the transformative impact of education, Irene ventured into entrepreneurship in 2005. She founded MPM Edification Learning, a center dedicated to enriching and tutoring students. At MPM, Irene’s innovative programs extend beyond traditional academic boundaries. They not only impart a solid foundation in mathematical principles and computational skills but also foster problem-solving capabilities through exploratory learning. Under Irene’s guidance, children at MPM develop not just academic proficiency but also cultivate a positive self-learning attitude that serves them well beyond the classroom.

Irene’s career journey has not only been confined to the educational realm but has also granted her the unique privilege of traveling to diverse destinations around the world. These experiences have not only broadened her horizons but have instilled in her a profound appreciation for the transformative power of education in shaping a global perspective. Lauren Hughes

Meet Lauren Hughes, an Educational Consultant at ED-SG.

Lauren Hughes is excited to embrace a new challenge as an Educational Consultant with ED-SG in the Middle East, specifically in the UAE. Lauren’s educational journey commenced after graduating from Manchester University in 2007, leading her to work with children from diverse cultures and backgrounds across New Zealand, Australia, the UAE, and South East Asia.

Her experiences in Montessori schools, language schools, and volunteer projects solidified Lauren’s passion for teaching and learning. After a fulfilling year as a Teaching Assistant in a multicultural school in England, she furthered her education with a PGCE in Primary Education at the University of Brighton.

Over the past twelve years, Lauren has honed her teaching skills in British Curriculum schools, with the last five spent in the enriching environment of Repton Abu Dhabi—an International School setting. Fostering a creative and reflective approach to education, Lauren’s belief in teaching through exploration and discovery has shaped her teaching philosophy, aiming to instill lifelong learning skills in her students.

Remaining committed to personal and professional growth at Repton Abu Dhabi, Lauren actively pursued Continuous Professional Development (CPD). In the later years, she completed a course in Strategic Wellbeing and Resilience, gaining a nuanced understanding of the critical importance of Student Wellness and its impact on academic outcomes.

As a mother of three children and with twelve years of experience teaching in British Curriculum schools, including five in an International School setting at Repton Abu Dhabi, Lauren brings comprehensive personal and professional insight into the Middle East’s and UAE’s international school landscape. Beyond the classroom, Lauren wears multiple hats – from being a dedicated yogi to exploring her interests in holistic wellness, nutrition, and the simple joys of seasides and sunsets.
